Aidan Deery

Aidan Deery is a Belfast-based composer and sound artist originally from Slieve Gullion, Co.Armagh. His output has included fixed-medium electroacoustic compositions, installations, and works for solo instrument with electronics, as well as collaborative work with sound and visual artists. Aidan’s work often finds inspiration from his personal archive of field recordings gathered from across the globe for over a decade, and has had regular performances at concerts and festivals across Europe and the Americas. He has completed numerous local and international residencies, and is one half of the field recording duo bunú.
