Richard Davis

Richard Davis is an artist, animator and musician based in Belfast. He has created traditionally animated music videos for Northern Irish acts including Snow Patrol, Malojian and Robyn G. Shiels. He also writes and performs his own music and has composed original live scores for film. Completing a Masters in Digital Media Arts at University of Brighton, he began to explore work that fused his visual art with his songwriting: creating installations, sculptures and instruments that incorporate various interactive technologies to consider how we can physically engage with music. He is currently completing a PhD at Queen’s University focusing on the performance of voice using movement and interactive technologies.
