Harpsichordist and artistic director of London Early Opera Bridget Cunningham will be leading a workshop with year 3 Music students at Queen’s in preparation for their production of Handel’s Theodora.
Bridget Cunningham trained at the Royal College of Music, London, and is currently undertaking her doctoral studies with a stipend through Open, Oxford and Cambridge Universities. She has performed at Buckingham Palace, Innsbruck Festival, Yale University and has recently released a solo album of the harpsichord music of Thomas Roseingrave.
As artistic director of London Early Opera she is recording a series of albums with Signum Classics including Handel’s Eight Great Harpsichord Suites and Handel’s Queens;
