BIO
Viktoria Arvayová and Celestína Minichová are multidisciplinary artists based between Bratislava and The Hague. Their collaborative practice explores the intersections of sound, performance, and activism, with a focus on ecological issues and collective engagement. Since 2023, they have been developing the ongoing initiative Songs for Rye Island, which addresses the endangered state of Žitný ostrov—one of the largest sources of drinking water in Central Europe. Through performative acts, soundworks, and participatory formats, they seek to raise awareness of environmental fragility while fostering empathy and responsibility through listening.
