Lusine Kirakosyan
Two short performances coinciding with the LEZU installation running all day on Saturday as part of SARC Installations.
LEZU transforms the Armenian alphabet into a multisensory performance of sound and visuals. Using two custom-built controllers, one with sliders and buttons for rhythmic interaction, and another inspired by the duduk wind instrument, the system allows the alphabet to be “played” like music.
Audio is processed in Ableton Live and paired with real-time generative visuals in TouchDesigner, projected onto layered tulle screens for an immersive experience. The piece invites audiences to experience language as a living sound and visual form.
LEZU will also be featured at Handmade Music on Friday.
