Jorge Ramos is a Portuguese composer and sound artist whose work merges orchestration with technology, drawing on psychoacoustics, AI, and intuitive electronics.
His music spans solo, orchestral, electroacoustic, and interdisciplinary formats, and has been commissioned by institutions like the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and Kotsanas Museum of Ancient Greek Technology.
He is the 2024/25 LPO Young Composer and has taken part in programs by ENOA, ORA Singers, and TalentLAB. Inspired by overstimulation and the clash of eras, his sonic language blends vintage textures with futuristic methods.
