BIO
Kevin McNeilly is Associate Professor in the Department of English Language and Literatures at the University of British Columbia, a co-editor of Critical Studies in Improvisation / Études critiques en improvisation, and a researcher with Improvising Futures and with the International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation. A book of poems about early jazz trumpet players, Embouchure, is published by Nightwood Editions. He teaches and writes about contemporary poetics, media aesthetics, comics and listening.
