BIO

Michael Speers and Luciano Maggiore make music contemplating the kernel of black metal. Their album necesse est numquam revelare stercorem tuum was released on Krim Kram (IRL) in 2023.

Michael Speers is a musician from County Down, Ireland. Currently a PhD student at SARC. He uses percussion, feedback, digital synthesis and environmental sound in improvised performances, sound installations and electroacoustic compositions.

Luciano Maggiore is a Palermo-born, London-based musician whose work is characterised by the use of speakers and several analogue/digital devices and addresses the performativity of the musical act, the perception of it, and the obscurity that emanates from it.
