Jacob Eriksen

Jacob Eriksen is a Berlin-based researcher, artist and lecturer in Sound Studies and Sonic Arts at Berlin University of the Arts, where he currently conducts his PhD project on posthuman attitudes in sound art and experimental music. Jacob Eriksen has taught at the Humboldt University of Berlin, the University of Copenhagen, and RMC in Copenhagen. He is a member of the artistic research collective Listening-With and Berlin Research Colloquium Sonic Thinking and co-curates Chronopolis (live broadcast of generative and algorithmic music) at Cashmere Radio. As an artist, Jacob Eriksen works with sound synthesis in the form of live performances and installations and has exhibited and performed internationally.
