BIO

Niall O’Connor is an audio engineer, live events technician, researcher, and Programme Coordinator of the BSc (Hons) in Music and Sound Engineering at Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Midlands.

His work focuses on the pedagogy of creative audio engineering, live sound, and related practices, alongside the application of immersive audio technologies in both educational and creative contexts. His research emphasises practice-based learning and the development of innovative teaching approaches within audio education.

Niall also maintains an active creative practice as a composer and sound artist. His work has been presented at the International Computer Music Conference (ICMC) and featured in multiple exhibitions.
