Hard Rain SoloistEnsemble
This concert and tribute to Anthony Braxton features graphic scores, also including those by Sarah Watts and Ioana Petcu Colan, based on her artwork ‘Kanon à 4’, created from previously-played violin bow hair, on a quadriptych of prepared panels to be displayed during the performance.
Brain Irvine will direct Hard Rain for this performance as they are also joined by Matthew Wright (turntables and live sampling), Alexander Hawkins (piano) and Belfast-based drummer Stephen Davis.
