Originally from Mexico City, studied at the University of Victoria (Canada), the Xenakis Centre (France), the Institute of Sonology (Netherlands), the University of Washington’s DXARTS center (USA), the Autonomous National University of Mexico, and the University of Birmingham (UK). He writes sound-based music for acoustic instruments, live electronics, and fixed media, and his works have been presented internationally at events such as the ICMC, BEAST FEaST, Gaudeamus Festival, New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, Espacios Sonoros, and the Kyma International Sound Symposium. Currently lives in the Netherlands, working as an independent artist and software developer.
