BIO

Dr. Phivos-Angelos Kollias explores the creative potential of emerging technologies in music. His projects take form as interactive performances, virtual reality works, or games. He studied music in Cambridge, London, and Paris, supported by four foundations, and now lives in Berlin.

He has received eight awards and nine nominations in international competitions. Group projects he has participated in have won twelve awards and distinctions. His commissions include German Music Council, Musikfonds, ZKM, and Dell Computers. His scores are published by BabelScores, Paris. Kollias is founder and creative director of Echorroes, advancing human-centered AI through interactive music play for children.
